Overview

Price Rounder ("the tool", "we", "us") is an application that helps merchants apply price-rounding rules to products in their Shopfront store. This policy explains what information the tool collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.

By creating an account and connecting your Shopfront store, you agree to the practices described below.

Information we collect

Account information

• A username you choose and a password, which is stored only as a salted PBKDF2 hash — we never store your password in plain text.

Shopfront connection data

• OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by Shopfront when you authorise the tool to connect to your store.
• The subdomain of the Shopfront store you connect.

Store data accessed on your behalf

• Product, category, classification, tag and price information (including scheduled future prices) retrieved from your Shopfront store so that rounding rules can be previewed and applied.
• The rounding rule sets you create and save within the tool.

The tool requests only the Shopfront permissions it needs to operate: see_products, see_classifications, edit_products and modify_default_prices.

How we use information

• To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
• To connect to your Shopfront store and read product and price data.
• To preview and apply the price-rounding changes you request.
• To save and reload your rounding rule sets between sessions.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Storage and security

Account details, OAuth tokens and saved rule sets are held with a reputable cloud hosting provider. Passwords are never stored in plain text — they are kept only in a securely hashed form. All traffic to and from the tool is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and sign-in and registration are protected against automated abuse.

Product and price data is read from Shopfront on demand to display previews and apply changes; it is not retained beyond what is needed to complete your requested action.

Data sharing

Your store data is exchanged only between you, this tool, and Shopfront's API. We rely on a reputable third-party cloud provider to host the tool and store data. We do not disclose your information to any other party except where required by law.

Data retention

Your account, saved rule sets and store connection are retained while your account is active. You can disconnect a store at any time, which revokes the stored OAuth tokens. To delete your account and associated data, contact us using the details below.

Your rights

• Request access to the information we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your account and data.
• Revoke the tool's access to your Shopfront store at any time.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
